I am beyond proud to have had the opportunity to work with each of these wonderful Teachers.

Nadège was introduced to Pilates 20 years ago in Germany when having back pain. After a few sessions, her core strengthened which motivated her to always include a Pilates work out to her regular fitness routines. It was in December of 2013 that she decided to make a career out of it and applied to the Real Pilates program.
In her own words, “The 9 months training have been the most rewarding learning experience since College. Pilates has transformed me as a person: it has made me healthier, stronger, fitter for my daily tasks, happy and proud of my achievement. The method works, it just does. It requires discipline (for sure!)but the Mind Body connection is so worth it. I have been blessed to have been among the first trainees who were given the opportunity to do the Comprehensive training under Alycea’s watch and her amazing team. Real Pilates is more than a studio: it is a community that I cherish and love spending time with and learning from! The team, the clients, the venue, the Gratz equipment and the neighborhood made my time there fly by so quickly! I am honored to now be a Pilates Instructor and continue the work Joe Pilates started. I look forward to the journey of learning more of it and evolving with it.”
Nadege has invested in some Gratz equipment and works as an independent Pilates instructor in the Rye area. Her passion for foreign languages enables her to use her fluency in French, English, German and Spanish to accommodate her international pool of clients.

As a non-stop-mover, she especially enjoys working with athletes; even if that means enhancing your performance in those day-to-day sports like sprinting from the coffee shop to your first meeting. Malia is excited to be learning from the amazing Real Pilates team and looks forward to meeting all of you soon!
Madeline Mondrada -Madeline is originally from Venice Beach California. Her fitness roots are in gymnastics, modern dance and ballet, all of which she thoroughly enjoyed as a young adult. With inversions, acrobatics, and apparatuses galore, Jordan was drawn to the history and technique that Pilates is built upon. The native Los Angelina graduated from Eugene Lang College with a B.A in Journalism and lived in Southeast Asia as a reporter. Aside from being a journalist, globe trotter, and novice knitter, she is a 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher and is the founder of a non-profit (www.souljournyoga.com) which raises money for girls education in developing countries through yoga and Pilates events. Joanna Liebman – Joanna has been a student of Pilates since 2006, primarily studying under Juan Estrada (now a Real Pilates Senior Instructor). From the very beginning Jo loved how strong she felt and looked after a session, and how Pilates connected fitness with her (amateur) background in and love of dance. After retiring from a thirteen year legal career Jo decided that if she was going to spend time away from her two young children it was going to be for something she was passionate about and that directly benefited the people around her. She feels so lucky to be able to embark on this new journey and is thrilled to be a part of Real Pilates.
Charlotte Novak – Charlotte recently graduated from Connecticut College with a BA in cellular and molecular biology, and a keen interest in the human body. While in college she started Pilates with a classical mat class and was instantly drawn to the benefits she experienced. Although she exercises with a serious poker face, she is otherwise always smiling. Charlotte has decided to become an instructor so that she may help others connect with their bodies and achieve their goals whether it is strength, rehabilitation or overall wellness through the Pilates method.
