Due to intensive study of classical ballet in her youth, Anna began training Pilates seriously at just 13 years old. She was amazed by how immediately the method was able to effect change in her own body and in her dancing. Anna’s positive results inspired her to go deeper into the method by becoming an instructor. She went into training at one of the most internationally acclaimed schools for classical Pilates, Power Pilates. Anna completed the program in 2004, becoming the school’s then youngest trainer, at 19 years old. She continued to teach for Power Pilates for another 7 years alongside master trainer’s Bob Liekens and Susan Moran. In 2008, Anna started an in- home training company, Dynamic Fitness by Anna, with which she has taught in New York, Arizona, South Carolina, L.A. and internationally in Togo, Senegal, Mali, Rwanda, and Madagascar. In 2009, Anna received her Yoga Instructor Certification from the Dharma Yoga Center in NYC. She maintained a steady business in Dakar, Senegal for over 4 years as the primary Yoga/Pilates trainer for the US, Spanish, and French Embassies, the Peace Corps, the UN, and several local gyms and health centers in Dakar teaching in English, French, and Wolof. Anna traveled with and trained the prime minister of Togo, Senegalese presidential advisors and the Mayor of Dakar. Anna has also been a repeat summer guest teacher in Nantucket at the nationally celebrated Lisalates Pilates Studio. In 2013 she expanded her knowledge base again becoming a Gymnastics Instructor with USAG, a Personal Trainer with NCSF, and a Salsa teacher. Anna continues to teach worldwide and achieve excellent results, both for herself and for her clients.
