vanessaVanessa was introduced to the Pilates method nearly 20 years ago and was hooked from that very first mat class. The Pilates method, she found, is infinitely challenging in and of itself — but it also instills a sense of physical and mental confidence that prepares one to participate in other types of fitness activity. She was especially drawn to the key principles of Pilates – control and centering, which helped her manage a demanding travel schedule during her career in media sales and marketing.

In 2010 Vanessa decided to leave the office and become a fully certified Pilates instructor. She was thrilled to be invited to join the team at Alycea Ungaro’s Real Pilates in 2012. She continues to work there, and is eager to share the and all its benefits, both physical and mental, with you!
